About Us

The Learning Academy (TLA) is a public charter school dedicated to empowering students with autism spectrum disorders to reach their fullest potential. Guided by our mission, we provide evidence-based instruction that supports academic growth, social-emotional learning, communication development, and independent functioning across settings.

At TLA, we believe education should prepare students not only for success in the classroom, but for life outside of the school setting. Through intentional instruction, real-world learning opportunities, and structured community and vocational experiences, students are supported through important transitions at every stage of their educational journey.

We value strong collaboration with families, educators, and community partners. By working together, we create a supportive and enriched learning environment where each student is seen, supported, and encouraged to grow. At The Learning Academy, our focus is on helping students build a foundation for lifelong learning, meaningful connections, and a fulfilling future.

Our Mission

To empower every TLA student to reach their fullest potential through evidence-based instruction in academics, social-emotional learning, communication and vocational skills, while fostering meaningful inclusion and community readiness.
